Your FAQs

Common questions answered

Our furniture is entirely bespoke, so sometimes there isn’t an ‘off-the-shelf’ answer, so please ask if there’s anything you need to know. However, there are a few questions which come up regularly…

  • Why should I buy bespoke?

The beauty of bespoke furniture is that you are in control every step of the way. From the design and finish to budgets and timescales – choosing bespoke furniture is more a luxury service than a product. Designs are tailored to you and your lifestyle, saving more space than ‘off-the-shelf’ products and designed to specific tastes and styles.

  • How long will my furniture last?

Your furniture is guaranteed for 5 years and with the right care will last decades.

  • What materials do you use?

We use MDF based panels or MFC (melamine faced chipboard). We can use solid wood also or a mixture of both, it's all dependent on your budget.

  • Will there be a lot of dust?

All furniture is manufactured and pre-assembled in workshops. On the odd occasion, we will need to do some minor cutting or planing on-site, but our fitters will contain any dust with dustsheets and extraction devices where necessary.

  • How much will my furniture cost?

We encourage you to get in contact o discuss prices. It depends on the product, the finishes and labour required. As an approximate guide, £1000 per linear metre. The very nature of bespoke furniture means that we can’t really display prices on our website, but rest assured that we are competitive. Remember that bespoke furniture is a luxury service and is more expensive than off-the-shelf products.

  • How long will it take to make the furniture?

Please allow 8-10 weeks from production drawing sign-off to ‘installation ready.’ When your furniture has arrived, we will contact you to arrange suitable installation dates. Please bear in mind that the pre-production / pre-order time can be a few weeks to even months before we are all ready to sign off for production.

  • Why do I have to pay a visit fee?

Our services are very much in demand, we have a small team and we want our designer’s time to be valued, a free service doesn’t mean that it is not of any value. If you live outside the M25 we may charge a design visit fee. If you choose to proceed, it is entirely refundable and will be deducted from your final invoice.

Our clients say…

I just wanted to say that we are delighted with the wardrobes - both the design and the installation. Read more…
