Inhouse Interiors have recently completed an extensive project in London’s Nottinghill. After seeing our advert in the London Magazine, the client contacted us – they were in need of some clever storage solutions for 2 bedrooms, a study area and a media centre for their family room.
Master bedroom
The existing wardrobe was outdated and inefficiently using the space under the stairs and so we created bespoke wardrobe utilising under-stairs space for built-in wardrobes to exacting specifications. The colour of the satin lacquer was specifically blended to compliment the colour of the walls and an accent colour of grey was added for the high-gloss band with an inset border of stainless steel. The wardrobe star feature was the ingenious pullout shoe ladder which neatly fitted in the lower ceiling section under a beam in the centre of the room.

Guest bedroom
Here we replaced the old MDF wardrobes with sophisticated satin lacquered floor-to-ceiling wardrobes featuring a walnut centre shelving unit, trims and solid walnut handles. The finish, like the master bedroom was also blended here to match the walls. Another improvement to this room was to replace inefficient alcove door cupboards with useful drawers either side of the bed to provide storage space and act as bedside cabinets.

Study area
The creation of some ergonomically designed furniture in the study reception area meant that the household now had somewhere to work and to organise their workspace with shelves and filing drawers fitted neatly in the alcoves.

TV room
Being a very dark basement room, we suggested a high-gloss finish to reflect as much light as possible. The result was an extremely chic media centre, featuring sleek lines of closed storage, cabinets and floating shelves.

In all, this project took us little over a week to install and the clients were very proud of their new decluttered spaces and stylish storage solutions with minimal disruption.
Thank you for the excellent work in our flat. We are very pleased with everything. Read more…
