Popular in Putney

We were very proud to have been recommended by one of our Interior Designer clients to her close friends in Putney. The couple needed some furniture to complete their newly built kitchen and living room extension.

Inhouse Interiors were asked to design and fit TV display furniture and a home office within the new living room, in keeping with the very extravagant adjoining kitchen – brand new and finished in Makassar.

We designed and fitted two beautifully finished contemporary units… The TV display unit, finished in walnut, concealed wires and stored electronics, DVDs & CDs in neatly organised shelves and sliding doors to closed storage.

On the opposite wall, the home office / work station and library unit was matched with the TV unit, a functional office space with cappuccino coloured high gloss fronts, chunky desk top and knee drawer, concealed pull-out printer shelf and plenty of open shelf space for a large collection of books.

Not only did Inhouse Interiors secure the design and build of the TV unit and home office area in the living room, we returned again, designing and fitting alcove storage units previously assigned to another furniture maker! They looked great, with chunky oak tops and a white satin lacquer finish to the fronts, they fitted perfectly with the room.

And… a few months later our skills and craftsmanship were counted upon again in the planning of another home office in the same house.

Our client’s husband had begun working from home and wanted some walnut finished workspace of his own. The space was tight but we built the perfect fitted desk in an alcove, with bookshelves, knee drawers and low level, sliding door storage.

Inhouse Interiors are always working with our clients, large or small, to design the most practical furniture solutions. Home offices are a great example of this – in a growing home-working culture it pays to really think about your working space and how you use it.
