Knightsbridge Home Storage… Solved in Style

Our latest challenge came in the form of a prestigious home in Knightsbridge, London.

In the living room we installed a striking low level media storage unit made using the finest Macassar veneer – we selected the most striking grain we could for this project. The unit has AV equipment integration so nothing has to be on show. It cleverly includes ventilation so it does not overheat. The doors at the centre of the unit are operated by a gas-lift system for a security and durability. The floating shelves above add to the warm, contemporary style and complimenting the rest of the furniture.

We continued using Macassar veneers on the luxurious walk-in wardrobe. The distinctive grain of the wood resembles tiger print, illustrating the exotic origins of the timber. We created a large and extremely versitlile storage space, with a large, open hanging area, back panelled with our own modular system, low level drawer and shoe storage. The clean lines of the furniture lets the stunning Macassar speak for itself.

Following the same style we created a low storage unit under the sink in the bathroom. Tying in with this, the mirror was finished using the unused offcuts of Macassar veneer, a striking contrast to the tiled walls.
