A great example of how Inhouse Interiors can get the most out of the space of a much used teenagers’ bedroom and bathroom…
This wardrobe was fitted as part of a pair of wardrobes for twin sisters. It also acts as a cunning concealed partition to the en suite bathroom.
Originally the Client wanted to design and install a walk in wardrobe for their twin daughters. Inhouse Interiors, realising this would take up too much room designed for them a wardrobe that also provided a hidden entrance to the shared en suite bathroom. Using the eaves of the room as well as space that would have been taken up by a partition wall.

There are 2-door wardrobes on either side of the bathroom entrance, and storage over. The double-sided mirrored door was hung so that it would glide over the carpeted flooring and the top of the wardrobe created a balustrade for a mezzanine playroom. The wardrobe itself is made from solid routered doors with a narrow frame and checkerboard wood finish.
On top of the wardrobe area we also created a reinforced & secure play area for the youngest member of the family – accessed by a mezzanine level on the other side.
All in all a very happy family!
I just wanted to say that we are delighted with the wardrobes - both the design and the installation. Read more…
